Last weekend in September. This event features a parade, craft show, games and other old fashioned country activities.

The Hotel Almira

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is currently being renovated. Will soon open as a restaurant, lounge and Bed and Breakfast. For information call 509.639.2477.

Recreation

Blue Bird Trail

Developed by the citizens in Almira, just head north out of town on The Old Coulee road. On this 20 mile stretch the bird watching is at it’s best. This Trail is a loop off the tourist route called the Coulee Corridor. For information click on www.bbrcd.com/204.html.

Opportunities for both abound in the immediate area.

Recreation on the Water

Both Lake Roosevelt and Banks Lake are within 30 miles of Almira. There are a number of picnic and camping areas, and miles and miles of open water for boating and skiing.
